DAN
RUSKIN
Dear
Paul,
This
is just a quick note to say that you're the best thing to happen
to my piano playing since I first sat down in front of an audience
over sixty years ago.
I
don't know how you do it. You seem to be able to give our instruments
new life. Because they're brighter and easier to play, I'm better
and happier to be playing. It's as if the music has a fresh
start.
It's
not magic, I know. It's attention to detail. It's never giving
up. It's technical know-how. It might be the fact that you're
such a great pianist yourself. Who knows?
All
I know is that you're a dedicated, cheerful fellow with a rare
talent for pitch and timbre and I recommend you to anyone who
wants to hear a beautiful piano.
Very
truly yours,
/s/
